Salary
The remuneration for contractual engagement is fixed and consolidated for the entire duration of employment:
- Senior Technical Assistant: ₹58,300 per month
- Operator: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Educational Qualification Details
The educational and experience requirements differ for each role:
1. Senior Technical Assistant
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Expertise in high-resolution mass spectrometry (Orbitrap, Q-TOF, or Triple Quadrupole) for metabolomics, lipidomics, and proteomics.
- Proven experience in sample preparation, LC-MS/MS method development, and advanced data analysis using software such as Proteome Discoverer, Xcalibur, or Sequest.
- Desirable:
- Postdoctoral experience with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Knowledge of bioinformatics pipelines, multi-omics integration, and data-driven analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
2. Operator
- Essential Qualification:
- M.Tech or M.Sc./BS-MS with at least 55% marks and up to 3 years of relevant experience, or
- Ph.D. with hands-on experience in operating scientific instruments.
- Alternate Path:
- M.Tech or M.Sc./BS-MS with at least 55% marks and up to 5 years of relevant experience, or
- Ph.D. with a minimum of 2 years postdoctoral experience handling related scientific equipment.
Age Limit
Operator and Senior Technical Assistant Post
- Minimum Age : – 21 Years
- Maximum Age : – 40 Years
Selection Process
The selection will be made purely on the basis of performance in the Walk-In Evaluation and Skill Test. Candidates will be evaluated for technical competence, subject knowledge, and practical handling of scientific equipment.
