Overview of AAI Senior Assistant Recruitment 2025
The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Eastern Region, has released Advertisement No. ER/02/2024 for recruitment to the posts of Senior Assistant (Electronics), Senior Assistant (Accounts), and Senior Assistant (Official Language) in NE-6 Level at various airports/establishments in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Sikkim. Eligible candidates can apply online only through the AAI website from 05 August 2025 to 26 August 2025. Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT), and for some posts, an additional Computer Literacy Test

Selection Process
- Mode of Selection:
- All posts will have a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks, duration 2 hours.
- Post-wise Process:
- Post Code 01 – Senior Assistant (Electronics):
- CBT → Merit list → 12 weeks Ab-Initio Training + 4 weeks On-Job Training.
- Post Code 02 – Senior Assistant (Accounts):
- CBT → Qualifying Computer Literacy Test in MS Office (2 hours).Final selection based on CBT merit (subject to qualifying the computer test).
- Post Code 03 – Senior Assistant (Official Language):
- CBT → Qualifying Computer Literacy Test in MS Office (Hindi) (2 hours).
- Post Code 01 – Senior Assistant (Electronics):
- Syllabus Distribution:
- Post Code 01 (Electronics) – 70% subject related, 30% GK, General Intelligence, Aptitude, English.
- Post Code 02 (Accounts) – 70% subject related, 30% GK, General Intelligence, Aptitude, English.
- Post Code 03 (Official Language) – 50% subject related, 50% GK, General Intelligence, Aptitude, English.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT:
- UR/OBC/EWS/Ex-SM: 50/100
- SC/ST: 40/100

Step by step method to apply online:
Step–I: Sign–Up

- Select the relevant recruitment Advt. No. ER/02/2024 and click on the apply link.
- Fill basic details: Post applied for, Category, Candidate’s Name, Mobile Number, Email ID.
- Submit – you will receive an Application Sequence No. (User ID) and Password on your registered email and mobile.
- Log out after sign-up.
Step–II: Filling the Application Form
- Re–login using your User ID and Password.

Step–III: Payment of Application Fee (if applicable)
- Automatically redirected to PayU gateway after submission.

- After successful payment, return to the application form for confirmation.
