Selection Process
| Stage | Details |
| 1. Shortlisting | Based on valid GATE 2023 / 2024 / 2025 score in the relevant paper. |
| 2. Application Verification | Shortlisted candidates will be called to verify original documents, identity proof, and eligibility criteria. |
| 3. Merit List | Prepared based on GATE score, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria. |
| 4. Tie-Breaking | (i) Higher GATE score → ranked higher. (ii) If tie persists → older candidate ranked higher. (iii) If still tied → higher marks in qualifying degree ranked higher. |
| 5. Training & Bond (Electronics post only) | Selected candidates for Junior Executive (Electronics) will undergo ~6 months training and must execute a ₹7 lakh surety bond to serve AAI for training period + 3 years after training. |
| 6. Final Appointment | Subject to verification of character, antecedents, caste/category certificates, disability certificates (if applicable), and meeting medical standards. Colour blindness/night blindness is disqualifying. |
