Overview for RITES Limited Apprentices Recruitment
RITES Limited, a Government of India Enterprise, has released the detailed notification for the engagement of 252 Apprentice positions across Graduate Engineering, Graduate Non-Engineering, Diploma, and ITI trades.
The apprenticeship will be for one year, and selection will be based purely on merit, calculated from the marks scored in the essential qualifying examination.Candidates must apply through the NATS/NAPS portal depending on their qualification, and then upload their documents through the RITES Application Form before the last date.

Educational Qualification Details
The essential qualification should be from a recognized Institution/University approved by UGC/AICTE (for Graduate/Diploma) or NCVT/SCVT (for ITI).
Graduate Engineering
A full-time Engineering Degree in the relevant discipline.
Graduate Non-Engineering
A full-time degree such as BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, or BCA depending on the discipline.
Diploma Apprentices
A full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering trade.
ITI Apprentices
A full-time ITI qualification in the respective trade.).
Candidates must have the minimum qualifying marks:
- 60% for General/EWS
- 50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD
Stipend

Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 18 years old as on 17 November 2025.
Selection Process
The selection process is straightforward and transparent.
- Shortlisting
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks scored in the essential qualification.
If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate will be placed higher. - Merit List Preparation
After verifying documents submitted through the RITES Application Form, the merit list will be prepared. - Offer of Apprenticeship
Shortlisted candidates will receive an email from apprenticeship@rites.com
The merit list will also be uploaded on the RITES website. - Document Verification at Joining
Original documents must be produced only at the time of joining.
No hard copies need to be submitted earlier. - Subsequent Merit Lists
Vacancies remaining after the first round may be filled through later merit lists
Important Documents
The following documents must be scanned and uploaded as a single PDF:
- Final qualification certificates and mark sheets
- CGPA conversion formula (if applicable)
- Proof of date of birth
- Identity proof (Aadhaar, DL, Voter ID etc.)
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) in the prescribed format
- Latest OBC and EWS certificates, if applicable
- Any other document specifically required for eligibility

The application process has two mandatory steps:
Step 1: Register on NATS/NAPS Portal

After registration, log in and apply for the apprenticeship openings under “RITES Limited.”
Step 2: Submit Documents Through RITES Application Form
After applying on the portal, candidates must upload scanned documents through RITES’ form at:

Documents must be uploaded as one single PDF, maximum size 10 MB, only once
