Educational Qualification Details
For UPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2025, Assistant Director requires a Science degree or Engineering/Fire Engineering diploma with firefighting training and experience. Lecturer (English) needs a Postgraduate degree in English with B.Ed., and Lecturer (Mathematics) requires Postgraduate Mathematics with B.Ed. Age Limit
The Assistant Director age limit is 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 years for OBC, and 40 years for PwBD. For Lecturer (English/Mathematics), the limit is 45 years for ST candidates, including a special 5-year relaxation for Ladakh recruitment in 2025 and 2026.

Selection Process
UPSC selection may involve shortlisting based on higher qualifications or experience, or a Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview. RT scores usually carry 75% weight, interview 25%.
