Selection Process
The selection process is straightforward but competitive.
1. Online Test and Shortlisting (1:7 Ratio)
After the Online Test, a discipline-wise merit list will be prepared for all categories. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview and Document Verification in the ratio of 1:7 (seven eligible candidates for one post). If you have nil marks or negative marks in the online test, you will be ineligible for the subsequent stages.
2. Document Verification (Two Stages)
This is a critical process to confirm your eligibility before the interview.
- Stage 1 (Preliminary): The system conducts an initial scrutiny of the data you input into the application system against the laid down eligibility criteria.
- Stage 2 (Online Upload & Scrutiny): Shortlisted candidates will receive an email and must upload a specified list of documents (Annexure IV) within 7 days. A pre-interview scrutiny is then conducted. If any discrepancies are found, a correction window of an additional seven days will be provided for you to submit the required documents. Failing to provide the documents within this second deadline will lead to the rejection of your application.
3. Personal Interview
Candidates who successfully clear the document verification and meet all eligibility criteria will be provisionally called for a Personal Interview, tentatively based on the 1:7 ratio.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: You are required to qualify in the Personal Interview separately with a minimum average of 50% marks.
- Travel Reimbursement: Outstation candidates called for the interview will be reimbursed for to-and-fro III Tier AC Train/Bus fare, restricted to the III Tier AC rail fare, from the correspondence address by the shortest route
