Salary

If you are selected, you will undergo training for a period of one year. During this time, you will receive a consolidated stipend.

Stipend During Training:

  • MTs: Rs. 50,000/- per month.
  • DETs: Rs. 40,000/- per month.
  • Allowances: You will also receive medical allowances of Rs. 200/- per month. If posted at remote areas like Balimela or Mukhiguda, you get an additional Remote Area Allowance of Rs. 1000/- per month.

Pay Scale After Regularization: Upon successful completion of training, you will be appointed on probation for one year.

  • MTs: Appointed as Assistant Manager (E-3) with a pay matrix of Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/- (Initial Basic Pay: Rs. 56,100/-).
  • DETs: Appointed as Junior Manager (E-2) with a pay matrix of Rs. 44,900/- to Rs. 1,42,400/- (Initial Basic Pay: Rs. 44,900/-).

Service Agreement Bond: Candidates must sign a bond to serve the corporation for a minimum of 3 years (including the training period).

  • MTs: The bond amount is Rs. 2,16,000/- during training, reducing to Rs. 1,50,000/- during probation, and Rs. 90,000/- after confirmation.
  • DETs: The bond amount is Rs. 1,44,000/- during training, Rs. 1,00,000/- during probation, and Rs. 60,000/- after confirmation

Educational Qualification Details

  • MT (HR): You need a two-year full-time Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations & Welfare, HRD, HRM, or an MBA with a specialization in HRD or Personnel Management. You must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognized institute.
  • MT (Finance): You must possess a degree in any discipline combined with a CA or CMA qualification.
  • MT (Legal): A full-time Bachelor of Law degree from a recognized university is required, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • MT (Secretarial): You must be a Graduate and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS) or a Fellow Member (FCS). Additional qualifications like a Degree in Law, CA, or ICWA are desirable.
  • MT (Public Relations): A full-time degree accompanied by a two-year PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication is required. The minimum mark requirement is 60% in aggregate, or 50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • DET (Electrical): You need a full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution or State Council of Technical Education. The minimum aggregate mark is 60%, relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • DET (Civil): A full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering is required with the same mark criteria as above: 60% generally, and 50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Odia Language Requirement: Apart from your technical degrees, you must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently. You must have passed Middle School with Odia as a language subject, or passed HSC with Odia as the medium of examination, or passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard

Age Limit

The age eligibility is calculated as of 01.08.2025.

  • For DETs: You must be between 18 and 32 years old.
  • For MTs: You must be between 21 and 32 years old.

Relaxations:

  • The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC, Women, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
  • It is relaxable by 10 years for PWD candidates with a permanent disability of 40% or more.
  • PWD candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories can get a cumulative relaxation of up to 15 years.

Selection Process

The selection procedure is a multi-stage process designed to filter candidates based on merit.

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Eligible candidates are called for the online written test. Merit lists are drawn purely based on performance in this CBT.
  2. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be shortlisted for document verification, which will take place in Bhubaneswar.
  3. Medical Fitness: Final appointment is subject to medical fitness as per prescribed standards. PWD candidates must undergo verification by an authorized Medical Board

Important Documents

You must keep scanned copies of the following documents ready before applying. They should be in PDF format (size 100KB to 1MB), except for the photo and signature.

  • Photograph: Recent color passport size (JPEG/JPG, 100KB to 200KB, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm).
  • Signature: Scanned signature (JPEG/JPG, 80KB to 150KB, 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm).
  • Certificates:
    • 10th Pass Certificate & Marksheet.
    • 12th Pass Certificate & Marksheet (if applicable).
    • Diploma/Graduation/Degree Certificates & Marksheets supporting your essential qualification .
    • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/SEBC) if applicable.
    • PWD Certificate (if applicable).
    • Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen.

  5. Print Application: After submitting, take a printout of the application form. You do not need to send this hard copy immediately, but you will need to furnish it during document verification
