OVERVIEW for NHAI Recruitment 2025 for Graduates
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited online applications for various posts under direct recruitment through an All-India competitive examination. Applications can only be submitted through the online mode, as postal or email submissions are not accepted. The posts include Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts), Library & Information Assistant, Junior Translation Officer, Accountant, and Stenographer. Only Indian citizens and eligible citizens of Nepal/ Bhutan with proper certification may apply.

Educational Qualification
You must possess the essential qualifications from a recognized university or institute as of the closing date of the application.
- Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts): You need a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) via a regular course..
- Library and Information Assistant: A Bachelor’s degree in Library Science is required.
- Junior Translation Officer:
- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level (or vice versa).
- OR Master’s in any subject with Hindi/English medium and the other as a subject at the degree level.
- AND A Diploma/Certificate in translation (Hindi to English and vice versa) OR 2 years of experience in translation work in government offices .
- Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Chartered Accountant (Intermediate) or Certified Management Accountant (Intermediate) . Selection Process
The selection methodology depends on the specific group of the post.
- Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts):
- Two stages: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by an Interview.
- Library Assistant, Junior Translation Officer, Accountant:
- Single stage: Computer Based Test (CBT) only.
- Stenographer:
- Two stages: CBT followed by a Skill Test in Stenography.
- The skill test is qualifying in nature
HOW TO APPLY
The application process is entirely online. Do not send any paper applications to NHAI, as they will be rejected.
- Registration: Visit the official NHAI website (https://nhai.gov.in) and register to generate a User ID and Password .
- Fill the Form: Log in and complete your profile. Ensure your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email are correct as they cannot be changed later.
- Upload Documents: Upload your scanned photo (100KB-200KB) and signature (80KB-150KB) in JPG/JPEG format. Other documents should be 100KB-1MB .
- Payment: Pay the application fee via the online payment gateway.
- Print: After successful submission, click the “Print Form” button to save a copy for your records

- Recent passport-size color photograph.
