Overview of NEEPCO Recruitment 2025

North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), a “Mini Ratna” Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released an official notification for Apprenticeship Training for FY 2025–26.

NEEPCO, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., plays a key role in the development of power generation in India’s North-Eastern region. The recruitment aims to engage 98 apprentices in various disciplines—engineering, non-engineering, and trade apprenticeships—across multiple NEEPCO projects located in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, and Mizoram.This is a one-year apprenticeship training program under the Apprenticeship Act 1961, providing fresh graduates, diploma holders, and ITI pass-outs with an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on industrial experience in reputed power stations

Selection Process

The selection process for NEEPCO Apprenticeship Training 2025 includes:

• Communication – Call letters for document verification and joining will be sent through registered email only.
• Merit-Based Shortlisting – Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks obtained in their degree, diploma, or ITI qualification.
• Preference – First preference will be given to candidates from the state where the NEEPCO power station is located.
• Final Selection – If seats remain vacant, candidates from other North Eastern states will be considered based on merit.
• Publication of Results – The final list of selected candidates will be available on the official website www.neepco.co.in.

How to Apply

For Graduate and Diploma Apprentices:

1. Candidates must register online at the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal – https://nats.education.gov.in.
2. Complete registration and obtain a valid enrolment ID.
3. Log in to the NATS portal and search for “NEEPCO” under apprenticeship opportunities.
4. Select the desired Advertisement ID and stream as per qualification.
5. Apply online against the specific NEEPCO establishment.

For ITI Trade Apprentices:

1. Register at the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal – https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
2. Complete candidate registration and obtain a valid ID.
3. Search for NEEPCO (Establishment Code: E02161700001).
4. Apply for the preferred trade opportunity such as Electrician, Lineman, or Plumber.
