The Indian Navy has announced recruitment for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers for various branches and cadres under the Jun 2026 (AT 26) course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Executive Branch (GS(X) / Hydro Cadre): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
- Pilot / NAOO / ATC: BE/B.Tech with 60% marks, plus Class X & XII with 60% and English with minimum 60% in Class X or XII.
- Logistics: BE/B.Tech / MBA / B.Sc / B.Com / MCA / M.Sc (IT) with First Class; additional PG Diploma in relevant fields for certain qualifications.
- NAIC: BE/B.Tech in specified streams or PG degree in Electronics/Physics with required marks.
- Law: Law degree with at least 55% marks, recognized by Bar Council of India.
- Education Branch: M.Sc / BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in specified subjects with minimum 60% marks.
- Engineering & Electrical Branches: BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering streams with at least 60% Marks.
- Naval Constructor: BE/B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Ocean Engineering, Ship Building, Naval Architecture, Aerospace, etc., with 60% marks

SELECTION
- Shortlisting of Applications
- Based on normalised marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
- BE/B.Tech: Marks up to 5th semester (regular) will be considered.
- Postgraduate programs: Marks from all semesters (completed) or pre-final year (for final-year students).
- Shortlisting formula available on the Indian Navy website.
- SSB Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will receive email/SMS notification.
- No change of SSB centre is allowed.
- AC 3-tier rail fare reimbursed if appearing first time for that type of commission.
- Medical Examination
- Conducted for SSB-recommended candidates as per entry-specific standards.
- No change of medical hospital/centre permitted.
- Merit List
- Prepared based on SSB marks and subject to medical fitness & vacancy availability.
- Final Joining
- Candidates must submit proof of completing qualifying degree with minimum 60% marks before joining INA.
- Those failing to meet criteria will not be allowed to join.
