Educational Qualification
- Diploma Technician (Mechanical) –
- The candidates should have completed 3 Years of Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) from a recognized Institution/University.
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD
- Diploma Technician Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation
- 3 Years Diploma in Engineering in either Electrical or Electronics from a recognized Institution/University.
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Operator (Fitter)
- Qualification: ITI (Fitter) + NAC/NCTVT in the Fitter trade.
- Trade Must Be Approved By: NCVT.
- Institution: ITI must be from a recognized institute.
- Operator (Electrician)
- Qualification: ITI (Electrician) + NAC/NCTVT in the Electrician trade.
- Trade Must Be Approved By: NCVT.
- Institution: Recognized ITI institution.
- Operator (Machinist)
- Qualification: ITI (Machinist) + NAC/NCTVT in the Machinist trade.
- Trade Must Be Approved By: NCVT.
- Institution: Must have studied at a recognized ITI.
Age Limit
HAL has laid down specific age criteria along with relaxation norms:
General
- Maximum Age Limit: 28 years
Relaxations:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC (NCL): +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules
Salary
- Diploma Technician (Scale D-6): ₹23,000/- to ₹95,000/- (Approximately Salary – ₹47,868)
- Operator (Scale C-5): ₹22,000/- to ₹90,000/- (Approximately Salary – ₹45,852)
- In addition to the basic pay, other benefits like DA, HRA, PF, Gratuity, and medical benefits will be applicable as per company rules
Selection
The Candidates who belongs to UR / EWS / OBC-NCL category have got 60% marks in written test will qualify. similarly The SC/ST/PwBD will qualify if obtained 50% in the Qualifying examination.
- Written Test: The first stage, where candidates compete in a competitive examination based solely on merit.
- Document Verification: Only those who clear the written test are called for document verification. Here, candidates must submit all original certificates and documents that prove eligibility in terms of educational qualifications, age, category, and other criteria.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who pass document verification are then required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination at HAL Hospital. The final selection is contingent on a satisfactory medical report.
- Final Appointment: The candidate’s performance across these stages will determine final selection
